Boiler Plate Steel Stock Range

Over the past 30 years Angus F Gunn Ltd’s stock range has grown significantly, and we are confident we will hold whatever grade you require. All stock plate is procured directly from approved steel mills, with test certification to EN10204 3.1 as standard. Our experience in the marketplace and understanding our clients and their requirements have been instrumental in developing our stock system. All stock comes with a minimum 3.1 certification.

ASME SA516 GR 60

ASME SA516 Gr 60 Rolled Plate is a medium carbon alloy that contains manganese, phosphorus, sulphur, and silicon. These added alloying elements provide increased strength and versatility in highly demanding applications such as pressure vessels requiring moderate to lower temperatures where notch toughness is essential.

BS EN 10028-2 P265GH

The specification EN 10028:2 covers a range of non-alloy and alloy steels with specified elevated temperature properties intended for pressure purposes. EN 10028:2 P265GH is steel for pressure purposes (P) with minimum yield strength of 265 MPa (265). The material, which is ideally suited for elevated temperature service, is commonly found in the oil & gas, petrochemical and chemical industry.
